Your personal preferences are under Account settings, reachable from your avatar in the top-right corner. Any user — Member, Editor, Developer, Admin, or Owner — can access this page.
Password
Change the password you use to log in. Enter your current password to confirm the change.
If you signed up via SSO or trusted headers and never had a password, you can set one here to enable direct email/password login in addition to SSO.
Display name
The name shown in the sidebar, chat messages, and comments. Admins can override your display name from Settings > Members, but if they haven’t, you can edit it here.
Language
Pick the interface language. Tale supports English, German (and variants for Austria and Switzerland), and French (and a variant for Switzerland).
The language preference applies to the platform UI and to chat system messages. It does not change the language of documents you’ve uploaded or the style of the AI’s replies — those follow the content and prompts you provide.
Theme
Choose between Light, Dark, and System. System follows your operating system’s light/dark setting and updates live when it changes.
Notifications
